Learn to Play Guitar Guide is an Excellent Guide for people to Learn to Play Guitar

Why not Learn Guitar for Free?

If you get online and look up Guitar Songs Lesson you will get a mix bag of actual free videos and YouTube clips and Blogs of many fledgling and expert guitar players proudly displaying the latest song or technique that they have figured out and are willing to share with you.

Not that it is a bad thing, there is a certain value for this information but it leads to an interesting paradox. If you can play guitar all ready, why do you need to learn a song from another person? I my opinion, the reason for this is that most people are not learning how to play the Guitar properly. Instead of getting lessons or using structured information on the instrument, people are picking things up in little snippets any way that they can.

I think that it is great that fellow guitarist like to share their guitar knowledge on the Internet. If you look you can find all kinds of songs, especially easy ones, that people like and they want to display, for free.

This is great but it is not a lesson. Other times you will see free licks and techniques offered also. Most of these are just ways of trying to get you to buy something and they also are not a true lesson.

To me, the problem with learning this way is that it is too unorganized to benefit much. It’s like a Pre-Med student knowing all about the Brain but nothing about the Nervous System. Or an amateur golfer that knows a lot about putting but nothing about chipping. In other words, the players are not becoming complete guitar players. Guitar skills need to be strung together to make sense.
